You deserve a beautiful smile! Whether you are missing several teeth or just one tooth, the newest technology in dental care can restore your smile to its natural beauty. New metal-free flexible partials are natural looking, flexible, and comfortable. In fact, they look so natural that no one will know that they are not your natural teeth and they are so comfortable that you will forget you are wearing them.
For decades, patients resigned themselves to being uncomfortable because everyone thought that partial dentures had to be rigid to be effective. Many old fashioned partials and dentures looked unnatural, never quite matching the color or shape of existing teeth and constantly slipping out of place.
The Flexible Partial changes all that. The innovative Flexible Partial adapts its shape to accommodate the natural movements of your mouth. This suppleness improves your chewing function, prevents your existing teeth from shifting out of place, reduces your risk of gum disease, and maintains the natural shape of your face in addition to improving the appearance of your smile. The revolutionary Flexible Partial is strong, lightweight, and looks great!
We make your comfort our priority, whether we are replacing your old dentures or extracting some teeth to fit you with your first denture. We understand that comfort and appearance are important to you, so our knowledgeable and skilled staff will use the most advanced technology available to create the appearance of natural looking teeth in the most comfortable way possible. We want your new smile to look great as long as possible, so we will also teach you everything you need to know about the wear and care of your dentures.
Dentists categorize dentures in many ways but often describe dentures as either being conventional or immediate, depending on when the patient begins wearing her new denture. Most patients need to have one or more teeth pulled before wearing dentures; gums have a tendency to shrink in the weeks after tooth extraction. A dentist would create a conventional denture after the gums have healed so the contours of the denture closely match the patient’s mouth after healing is complete. This patient would receive her conventional denture 8 to 12 weeks after tooth extraction.
A dentist would create an immediate denture before tooth extraction so that the patient could wear the dentures immediately after having his teeth pulled. The advantage to immediate dentures is that the patient does not have to go without teeth. One drawback, however, is that the gum tissue will shrink as it heals so the denture may begin to feel loose. Fortunately, a dentist can reline the denture to fill in any gaps where the gums have receded to make immediate dentures fit well again.
