We are proud to announce that Dr. Stangebye is celebrating 30 years of being in practice! He and his wife have built not only a practice, but a dental family, here in the Michiana area. Dr. Stangebye and his staff value each and everyone one of our patients. We truly believe that we have the best patients in town! Without such wonderful patients, we would not have such a wonderful dental office.
Many of our patients have been with us for many years (some of you the full 30!). For those of you who are newer members to the Advance Dental family, we wanted to share with you a little history about our practice and about Dr. Stangebye himself.
Dr. Stangebye is a native of Northern Indiana who was born and raised in Hobart. He graduated from River Forest High School where he played many sports. He also played the trumpet in the band where he met the love of his life, Sue. Sue is a registered nurse and works alongside Dr. Stangebye as the Office Manager. Dr. Stangebye and his wife will be celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary this winter. Together they have 4 wonderful children, 4 beautiful grandchildren, and many furry family members.
Dr. Stangebye obtained his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and completed Dental School with Indiana University in 1990. Dr. Stangebye is a Member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, The Northern Indiana Dental Association, The American Academy of Dental Anesthesiologists, The Academy of General Dentistry; a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologist; a graduate of MISCH International Institute for Implantology. He is also certified in different methods of sedation dentistry. His main concentrations are Endodontics, Implants, Cosmetics, and Oral Conscious Sedation.
Dr. Stangebye is also very proud of his entire staff, most of whom have been with him for many years. He is confident that his staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and caring; and he knows that each staff member treats every patient as they would a family member.
