Dr. Ronald Stangebye is a native of northwest Indiana. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Purdue University in electrical engineering before pursuing his dental career at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Over the past 33 years, he has built a practice here in Michiana that is focused on the latest advances in dentistry in a comfortable, personalized environment. Dr. Stangebye has a special interest in helping those who have lost their natural teeth, reclaim their smile, whether it be a single tooth or entire mouth replacement. 

Dr. Stangebye is a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Northern Indiana Dental Association, the American Academy of Facial Esthethics, and a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.  He is a graduate of the Misch International Institute for Implantology.  Dr. Stangebye enjoys offering as many services as he can and truly loves the advancements that come along.  He is happy to offer Botox treatment for the relief of TMJ (jaw) pain, facial pain, headaches, as well as cosmetic enhancements. 

Dr. Stangebye and his wife, Sue have enjoyed raising their 4 children and living in the Michiana area for over 33 years. Dr. Stangbye's family continues to grow! They are proud grandparents to Gwendy, Bruce, Lars, Imelda Joy, Henry and William. He enjoys spending as much time with them as he can. He loves playing with their Newfoundland, Thor, their St. Bernard puppy, Ruby, as well as rescuing and caring for homeless cats.  Check out our office facebook page to catch a glimpse of Thor and Ruby as well as their feline friends! He enjoys the outdoors, motorcycling, rock climbing, hiking and traveling with his family. He also enjoys going to estate sales and antiquing with his wife. Most recently, his family has enjoyed working through "escape rooms" together.  Dr. Stangebye and Sue are big fans of comedians and music and enjoy traveling to see live shows of both.

Dr. Stangebye is continuously participating in continuing education classes in order to stay current with the latest advances in that Dentistry has to offer.  He is proud to offer Conebeam, CBCT (3D imaging).  CBCT scan shows all your bones, nerves, and soft tissues in high detail.  This allows Dr. Stangeybe to diagnose your health and plan our treatment approach before we even begin a procedure. Notably, this technology is a key step in planning and performing successful dental implant surgery.  He also uses the Itero Scanning System.  Gone are the days of taking impressions for crowns, bridges, or whitening.  The iTero digital scanning system produces precise, accurate, detailed impressions of your teeth.
